What is CWF 23xx? Well, it is an e-fed unlike any other that you will find online. A concept e-fed based in 2326, with a long, rich story that you will be able to find in full detail laid out in the "Our Concept" page.
On this page, however, we're going to lay out some rules of the fed to get you started. Alot should be pretty self explanatory but for those just coming in, I want to be as clear as possible.
1. No racism, homophobic, transphobic, or any other hateful speech that would offend the masses. We try to allow our handlers to have the freedom to have their characters express themselves freely - but you know the line, so don't cross it.
2. ABSOLUTELY No AI usage as a writing tool in your match roleplays, segments, or matches themselves. While I don't care if you use AI for graphics, songs, videos, or whatever, this is a writing competition and the moment I start allowing handlers to just AI their entire rp, we may as well close the doors and let I Robot take over.
3. To this end, no plagiarism of any kind is allowed here. You may not steal the work of other writers whether it's from efedding or any other publication, and you may not use any of your former work in a competitive roleplay. Look backs are okay and posting old work on the CD boards is also allowed. Basically...write your own shit, or you will be instantly disqualified.
4. Be nice in OOC environments. This includes the discord, forums, or anywhere else that you are not in character and should be a respectful person.
5. CWF is an original wrestler efed, which means all characters must be of your own creation. We do not accept characters that are real-life wrestlers, fighters, celebrities or anyone that you may have seen on TV and thought "oh wow it would be cool to portray this person". It's not, so don't even think about it here.
6. CWF's staff members are as follows:
Rish - Fedhead (Main Judge, Website Creator, Head Writer, etc.)
Mia- Co Fedhead (Secondary Judge, Storyline Building, etc.)
You can contact either of us through our forums or the fed's discord which has a thriving community of members that would be glad to answer any other questions you may have.
Roleplay Deadlines
CWF presents bi weekly shows called Infernalia and [insert PPV name here] every other Friday. The RP windows for these shows begin each time in the following order:
1. Infernalia/PPV is posted on the website.
2. You then have from the day the show is posted (Friday) to the following Friday at 11:59pm EST to post one 2,500 word max roleplay per character, per match.
Each roleplay is graded in four categories:
Spelling and Grammar: Should be pretty self explanatory. Keep your Roleplays tight, check on them and read them back to make sure all spelling, grammar and word misplacements are taken care of before posting. Each mistake will be a .5 taken off your spelling and grammar category.
World building and descriptions: This is where the setting of your piece is graded. Not only the setting and descriptions of that setting(s) throughout but the way your character interacts with them. The side characters in your story and how natural all the conversations feel in the piece.
General personal story: This is the meat and potatoes of your roleplay. While building a world for your character to be in, keeping the spelling tight and of course later the relevancy of your match talk mean a lot to your piece, if you're not writing something that moves the story of your character forward then why are you even doing this? This category could be delivered in a number of ways and fashions; any direction that you move to insert a vision that's seen as "this character's story", this is that category.
Match talk: Like the personal story category, this could be delivered in a number of ways. I don't expect every handler to just have a shoot promo, or have an interview in the ring. Be as creative as possible, and as long as you show in your piece a sense of relevancy to either the match ahead, your opponent(s), or both then it will be graded accordingly in this section.
All categories receive a one through ten grade, and then all grades are averaged together to give the overall score for the roleplay that week. When all roleplays for that match are done for the week, the overall scores for each will be compared and that’s how winners are determined.
There is also incentive for members of the fed to put in show reviews on the forums, as full grade reports for their match’s roleplay will be given out to anyone who reviews the show.
Segment/Match Deadlines
The following week after each RP window is over (from the end of the RP window to the following Friday when the show is posted) is set out for a week of judging and grading RPs, and the time for you as a handler to have ample time to think and write out segment(s) for your character for our shows. The best way to get your character over to the masses is to get them as much out in the open as possible. Our staff will gladly aid you in a direction for your character but the more help you put in writing things out for them and pushing storylines for yourself the more experience it'll be for all of us and the more successful you'll be here in CWF.
